When Hurricane “Maria” hit the Island of Puerto Rico one of our founders started a private group on Facebook with the name Donations for Puerto Rico.
One of our founders took her left over Hurricane Irma supplies to the office. Sent a few private messages to the local news and the mission started. Little did we know it would create hope for many in a time of despair.
Missions of Miracles is dedicated to assist families and their pets in times of tragedy, emergency or natural disaster.
From food and water to housing and employment assistance, Missions of Miracles is here to support those in need during their transition from emergency to normalcy.
Missions of Miracles staff comes from diverse backgrounds such as entrepreneurs, logistics, social media and marketing experts.
After we help them with their first necessities, we will build semi-permanent homes, a village, for displace families, for the ones that don’t have a family member to stay with. We will shelter them while they find a job and a permanent home, giving them a three months period until they get settle.
One of our goals is to build 50 homes to shelter at least 300 people at a given time.
